Taelor Karr is in her second season working with the Oregon women's basketball team as a graduate assistant manager.
Karr played for head coach Kelly Graves at Gonzaga for two seasons before graduating in 2013. She was the West Coast Conference player of the year in 2012-13 after averaging 11.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals per contest. She led the team with 69 made 3-pointers while shooting 43.7 percent from long range.
Karr started immediately at Gonzaga as a junior after transferring from Kansas State. In her first season under Graves, Karr led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.67. Was part of the same graduating class as fellow UO graduate assistant manager Meghan Winters at Gonzaga.
She played professional for Dunkerque in France last year before deciding to get into college coaching.
Karr is attending graduate school at UO and will serve as a manager for the team this season.
