Mike Duncan

Mike Duncan joined the Oregon administrative staff in October 2008 and is the Senior Associate Athletic Director working directly with facilities, events, and operations.
Duncan joined the Ducks after spending seven years as the Vice President of Arena Programming for ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. Duncan led the efforts of Maloof Sports and Entertainment to grow business through securing and developing events and increasing event attendance.
Duncan’s duties included negotiating contracts, overseeing management and completing financial reviews and analysis of every event.
Prior to his role as the Vice President of Arena Programming, Duncan spent eleven years as the Vice President of Arena Operations for ARCO Arena. Duncan directed and oversaw the operations of the arena as well as developed and managed the annual arena operating budget.
Duncan also spent two years as the booking manager for ARCO Arena and three years as the Director of Community Relations and Promotions for the Sacramento Kings.
Duncan started his athletic administration career as a sports information director at Sacramento State University from 1980-1985. His duties included servicing media requests, writing and editing media guides, releases and event programs, as well as selling and implementing athletic department sponsorships.
Duncan is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and public relations. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Eugene Cascades & Coast Sports Commission.
