
Three #ProDucks Set for World Indoor Championships

Former Oregon track and field stars Raevyn Rogers, Phyllis Francis and Johnathan Cabral will compete this weekend at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships
EUGENE, Ore, - Three former Oregon track and field stars will compete against some of the top competition from around the globe this weekend at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England.
Raevyn Rogers, the 2017 Bowerman Award winner for the Ducks, will run in the 800 meters for the United States after taking second at the USATF Indoor Championships. This will be Rogers' first appearance at a World Championships.
Phyllis Francis will represent the U.S. in the 4x400 relay at the World Indoor Championships after winning the gold in the 400 meters last summer at the 2017 World Outdoor Championships. A 2016 Olympian, this will be Francis' third time competing at a World Championships meet.
Johnathan Cabral will be in action in the 60-meter hurdles, competing for his native country of Canada. Cabral was a semifinalist in the 110-meter hurdles in London at the World Outdoor Championships, and he was sixth overall at the 2016 Olympics.
The World Indoor Championships begin this Thursday in Birmingham and will run through Sunday. All three #ProDucks will be competing on the final two days of the four-day event, and all events featuring the three former Ducks will be available to watch live on the Olympic Channel as well as stream live through NBC Sports Gold.

7:58 a.m. - Women's 800M Final (Raevyn Rogers)
8:30 a.m. - Women's 4x400M Relay Final (Phyllis Francis)
9:00 a.m. - Men's 60M Hurdle Final (Johnathan Cabral)
