Raskie Named to U.S. Collegiate National Team Europe Tour Roster

August Raskie has been named to the 12-player U.S. Collegiate National Team Europe Tour roster that will train and compete in Europe this summer
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Oregon volleyball setter August Raskie has been named to the U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team Europe Tour roster, USA Volleyball announced on Thursday.
Raskie, who will be a senior for the Ducks in the fall, was one of 12 players named to the elite CNT-Europe squad. The team is comprised of current collegiate players and will train and compete in Europe July 4-15.
Raskie is one of two setters on the team, along with Colorado State's Katie Oleksak. Louisville head coach Dani Busboom Kelly will serve as the CNT-Europe head coach.
The squad will land in Venice, Italy, on July 5. After training and friendly matches at a location to be announced, the team will compete at the Global Challenge on July 10-13 in Pula, Croatia.
Raskie and the rest of the CNT-Europe team was selected through the U.S. Women's National Team Open Tryouts that were held March 2-4 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
