EUGENE, Ore. - After helping the No. 1 seed Oregon softball team reach Super Regionals for the ninth straight season, sophomore Miranda Elish was named the MVP of the Eugene Regional.
Elish started both Oregon's first game of the regional, on Thursday against Albany, and the regional final against Drake on Saturday. The right-hander went 2-0 with 25 strikeouts in 14.0 innings with just nine hits and two walks allowed.
