Dante Named Pac-12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player

Couisnard, Shelstad Make All-Tournament Team
LAS VEGAS — Oregon men's basketball center N'Faly Dante was named the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player on Saturday. Guards Jermaine Couisnard and Jackson Shelstad also made the All-Tournament Team.
Dante led Oregon to their sixth Pac-12 Tournament championship win after averaging 20.3 points (.833 FG%), 8.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.0 blocks in three consecutive wins. In the title game, Dante net a career-best 25 points, along with nine rebounds. He connected on twelve-of-twelve shot attempts against Colorado, the single game tournament record for most makes without a miss.
Couisnard scored 10-plus in all three games, recording 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists against UCLA, before notching 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the semifinals win over No. 6 Arizona. In the championship game, Couisnard scored 14 points, adding eight assists and two steals.
Shelstad also recorded three consecutive double-figure games. After scoring 12 against UCLA, the freshman scored 21 (7-16 FG, 4-9 3FG) and added a career-high three blocks against Arizona. In the final, he scored 17, along with five rebounds and an assist.
