The 1933 football team allowed only 17 points during the season’s first eight games and became the first team in school history to win nine games in one season. The squad, which included All-Americans Mike Mikulak and Butch Morse who were previously inducted into the Hall of Fame for their individual accolades, shut out five of their opponents.
