Rising junior guard to participate in FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference in Chile.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Oregon guard Katie Fiso was named to the 2026 USA 3x3 Women's Nations Leagues team that will compete at the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference from June 27-July 3 in Ñuñoa, Chila, as announced by USA Basketball on Wednesday.
Fiso will join five over Division I athletes on a team coached by Todd Monsey, including Sunaja 'Nunu' Agara (Stanford), Imari Berry (Louisville), McKinna Brackens (Arizona State), Dani Carnegie (Georgia) and Tori McKinney (Minnesota).
In May, Fiso participated in USA Basketball's 3x3 Developmental camp in Phoenix and the subsequent USA Basketball 3X Showcase in Mesa, Arizona. Fiso and teammates Carnegie and McKinney took home the 3X Showcase title. Fiso was part of USA's gold-medal winning team at the 2022 FIBA 3x3 U18 Women's World Cup.
Fiso is coming off a breakout sophomore campaign in which she led the Ducks with 15.5 points and 6.2 assists per game, earning her second-team all-Big Ten honors. The Seattle product handed out 222 assists last season, the fourth-highest total in a single season in UO history, while producing a Big Ten-best seven points-assists double-doubles.
The 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference North will feature six three-game tournaments over seven days. The competition will run in a 'stops' format, with multiple stops held over the course of the weeklong event. Teams will accumulate points based on their performance at each stop. Team members can substitute as needed for each day's four-person entry.
The FIBA 3x3 Nations League will be a qualification route to the 2026 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup. Conference winners will qualify for the event, set for Sept. 15-19 in Wuhan, China. China men and women will receive automatic qualification along with the reigning champions (Lithuania men and Netherlands women). The rest of the teams will come from the winners of each conference and the next teams in the FIBA 3x3 Nations League 2026 final standings.
The 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League will stream live on YouTube.com/FIBA3x3.
3x3 is played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
