FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Bryce Taylor grabbed an offensive rebound and banked in an off-balance jumper with 0.8 seconds remaining, giving Oregon an 83-82 victory over Fresno State Saturday.
Aaron Brooks scored 16 points for the Ducks, while backcourt mate Taylor added 15 on 7-of-9 shooting.
Ja'Vance Coleman scored a game-high 23 points for Fresno State (6-1), which suffered its first loss of the season.
The Bulldogs trailed the entire second half until two free throws by Donovan Morris put them ahead 82-81 with 16.2 seconds remaining.
Oregon rushed the ball upcourt, using three seconds before calling time out. Ian Crosswhite missed an 18-foot jumper with about 2.5 seconds left, but the ball bounced right to Taylor in the lane. Taylor banked in a 10-foot jumper, drawing a foul on Dominique White with less than a second remaining. Taylor intentionally missed the free throw as time expired.
Coleman scored nine points in the final 3:05 to keep Fresno State close, including a three-pointer with 16.2 seconds left that made the score 81-80.
Oregon then committed a turnover and a foul without any time expiring off the clock, leading to Morris' go-ahead free throws.
Morris added 17 points for Fresno State, while Mustafa Al-Sayyad and White had 10 apiece.
Crosswhite had 12 points for Oregon, which shot 53.2 percent from the floor compared to Fresno State's 43.6.
After making 7-of-13 three-pointers in the first half, the Bulldogs went cold in the second, hitting 5-of-17. The Ducks opened the second half with an 11-2 scoring run, breaking a 43-43 halftime tie.
Brooks had 11 first-half points for Oregon. Jordan Kent scored all five of his in one spurt as the Ducks rallied from an early nine-point deficit. Coleman was 4-of-5 from three-point range in the first half, accounting for his game-high 12 points.
