EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Eleanor Haring scored 23 points and Jessie Shetters had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead Oregon past Saint Mary's 79-53 at McArthur Court Thursday night.
Three others scored in double figures for the Ducks (5-1), who were without second leading scorer Taylor Lilley after the freshman guard broke her left hand in practice on Wednesday.
"I was really happy with the first half," Oregon head coach Bev Smith said. "I liked the way we came out defensively and took away their strengths."
Lilley, who started Oregon's last three games, was averaging 11.4 points. She is out 4-6 weeks.
Cicely Oaks added 12 points for the Ducks, while Tamika Nurse and Micaela Cocks scored 11 apiece.
"With Taylor Lilley gone, I'm going to have to look to score more," Oaks said. "I'm usually looking to pass, but I'm going to have to look to shoot more."
Oregon controlled the game from the onset. The Ducks made six of their first seven shots to lead 13-2 five minutes into the game.
After the Gaels (2-4) cut their deficit to 18-15 at the 9:31 mark, Oregon closed out the half on a 25-2 run to lead 43-19 at halftime.
"Offensively I was happy with the way we moved the ball," Smith said. "I liked the extra passes we were making to get open shots."
Saint Mary's had just six field goals in the first half, while the Ducks made 48 percent of their shots from the field in both halves.
Haring, who also had seven rebounds, scored 13 of her points in the second half as Oregon pushed its lead to as much as 33 points, and never less than 16.
Serena Benavente led the Gaels with nine points.
