Sipe Tied for 14th at Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. ? Senior Derek Sipe shot rounds of 69-75 and was tied for 14th at 4-over 144 after the first two rounds of U.S. Intercollegiate, played Saturday at the 6,742-yard, par-70 Stanford Golf Course.
As a team, Oregon was ninth overall at 592.
USC led the competition at 554, with Stanford (572) and UCLA (574) rounding out the top three.
In addition to Sipe, the Ducks had three players tied for 43rd at 150 in Joey Benedetti, Sean Maekawa, and Isaiah Telles.
The Trojans had three of the top four individuals, led by Rory Hie's 133. Hie had an opening round 62 to go with a 71 to lead the individual race. USC's Tom Glissmeyer was second at 139, while Jamie Lovemark was tied for third at 140.
