KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. ? Senior Cathryn Bristow and sophomore Erica Omlid paced the No. 25 University of Oregon women's golf team in second round action Monday in the Kiawah Island Classic at Osprey and Cougar Point.
The Ducks stood tied with No. 64 Oral Roberts for 12th place (310-311-621) with Monday's +23 overall score in the College of Charleston-hosted event, and played the par-72 Oak Point course Monday.
Bristow and Graf carded 5-over second rounds of 77, while junior Felicia Eastick (78) and sophomore Kendra Little (79) rounded out UO's scoring for the round.
Glancing at Monday's scorecards, Bristow logged birdies on the fourth, 11th, 14th and 15th holes, parred the third, eighth, 12th and 16th and 18th holes, and bogeyed the other nine holes. Omlid birdied the fourth and 13th holes, parred nine holes and bogeyed the remaining seven holes.
Omlid led UO for the second time in her 35 career rounds after she also paced the squad in the second round last October in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational near Seattle. Bristow's team-low score was her 36th in 98 rounds and third in 11 overall this year for the Ducks.
In the overall results after two rounds, Bristow was the top Duck with her 10-over score (39th-t, 77-77-154), and was followed by Little (67th-tie, 78-79-157), Omlid (67th-tie, 80-77-157), sophomore Monika Graf (77th-t, 75-83-158) and Eastick (138th-t, 87-78-165).
Overall, Miami continued to lead the 41-team event (300-305-605), and held a one-stroke lead over fellow first-day leader East Tennessee State (second, 300-306-606). Central Arkansas carded the day's lowest round (300) to move into third place (310-300-610), and was followed by No. 34 Ole Miss (fourth, 305-306-611) and No. 28 Florida (fifth, 309-303-612).
On the individual leaderboard, Central Florida's Elisa Aoki (73-73), Nebraska's Mary Kate Bird (72-74) and Floriday's Jessica Yadloczky (73-73) were tied for the lead at 2-over with scores of 146, while first-day leader Stephanie Connelly fell into a tie for fourth place (70-77-147).
In Sunday's opening round action, Graf led UO with her three-over 75 on the Cougar Point course ? the fifth time she's paced UO in a span of10 rounds, and carded her eighth round overall this year that matched or bettered her preseason collegiate low of 76. At that point, Graf was tied for 10th overall, and was followed by Bristow (35th, 77), Little (54th-t, 78), Omlid (84th-t, 80) and Eastick (167th-t, 87)
Looking ahead, UO returns for third and final-day action Tuesday in its spring opener, and returns to the Cougar Point course for a final 18-hole round.

The Ducks are the highest ranked team in the field based on the national Golfweek and GolfStat rankings (25/26), and three other teams rank top 50 - Florida (28/29), Ole Miss (35/34) and Kentucky (48/44).
Sixteen other programs on hand at the tourney are ranked top 100 last week in one or both of the polls - Charleston (53/52), Nebraska (58/60), Oregon State (63/62), UNC Wilmington (66/63), Oral Roberts (64/65), Mississippi State (71/75), East Tennessee State (78/72), Texas State (79/82), South Florida (82/84), Miami (88/87), Illinois State (91/86), Maryland (93/95), Augusta State (95/94), Western Carolina (96/97), Middle Tennessee State (100/98) and Ball State (-/93).
