“Hats off to Stavert, he bounced back and did a great job. The pitching staff really stepped up, but offensively we still need to step up.
On game:
“We couldn't score, hats off to their pitcher. We are young though and we keep getting better.”
“We were squared up and had a solid approach, but we didn't do enough and it was frustrating. We choose to swing at the wrong pitches.”
“We hoped to tie and scrap along to get a victory, but we
didn't put enough pressure on Stanford today.”
On tomorrow's game:
“I told them to get some rest and bring attitude
tomorrow. Are mission is to come out and
win the series. Hopefully we will bring
a better Sunday attitude than we have brought in a long time.”
