Game 4 • Oregon vs. No. 6 Cal • Sept. 26, 2009
•UO faced a top 20 team for the third time in four games this season and improved to 2-1 in those contests.
•The Ducks recorded their first passing touchdown of the season when JR QB Jeremiah Masoli found SR TE Ed Dickson in the 2nd quarter for a 26-yard score.
•Dickson tied an Oregon mark for receptions (11) by a tight end (Josh Wilcox vs. Penn State, Jan. 2, 1995) and racked up the third most yards (148) in a single game by a TE (Blake Spence, 214, vs. Utah, Oct. 18, 1997).
•Dickson's three touchdowns were also a career-high.
•FR RB LaMichael James surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark for the second straight game with 118 on 21 carries.
•SR PK Morgan Flint scored the first non-kicking points of his career, catching a pass from JR QB Nate Costa on a two-point conversion.
•Oregon's 39-point margin of victory against Cal was the highest in the series since a 48-7 UO win in Berkeley in 2001.
•The Ducks were 5-of-5 in Red Zone scoring chances while Cal never reached Oregon's 20-yard line in the contest.
•Chip Kelly became the first UO head coach since Prink Callison in 1932 to win his first three games in Eugene.
