Oregon Looks to Rebound in Home Game with Wildcats

EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon men's basketball team (10-6, 2-2 Pac-10) will host Arizona (8-9, 2-3 Pac-10) in a Saturday afternoon Pac-10 Conference contest. Tip-time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. (PST) at McArthur Court in Eugene. Single-game tickets are for sale online at goducks.com, or in-person sales are available at the Casanova Center Ticket Office and via phone at 541-346-4461 (toll free: 1-800-WEB-FOOT).
The Wildcats are coming off a 67-64 road loss to Oregon State on Thursday night. Arizona split with the Washington schools last week, falling 78-76 to the Cougars before an 87-70 trouncing of the Huskies. UA is 41-23 in the all-time series with the Ducks, including a pair of wins last season. Oregon had won four out of the last five meetings with the Wildcats prior to last season's series sweep.

JOHN DICK, LUTE OLSON TO BE RECOGNIZED
The Admiral John Dick and Lute Olson will be the honorary captains for the Oregon-Arizona contest. Dick was a starter for the “Tall Firs” 1939 national championship team and earned All-American honors the following year in 1940. Olson earned Pac-10 Coach of the Year honors seven times, was named National Coach of the Year twice, made five final four appearances, and won the NCAA Title in 1997 with the Wildcats. In 2002, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
