Oregon Postgame Notebook - Game 8 vs. Washington State
- The Ducks ran their home winning streak to 21 games, which is the second-longest active streak in the nation and two shy of the UO school record set between 1997 and 2001.
- Oregon has won 17 straight conference games, dating to a 2009 road loss to Stanford.
- FR RB De'Anthony Thomas scored a pair of touchdowns, giving him 11 on the season to break Derek Loville's record (10 in 1986) for the most by a true freshman in UO history.
- One of Thomas' scores came on a 93-yard kickoff return, which tied for the tenth-longest at Oregon.
- SO LB Boseko Lokombo scored on 25-yard fumble return, the second fumble return for a touchdown in his career and third overall TD.
- SO DB Avery Patterson's first career blocked punt was the fourth blocked kick/punt of the season for the Ducks.
- The 55-yard reception by SR WR Lavasier Tuinei on his second-quarter TD was the longest of his career by 15 yards.
- JR RB LaMichael James returned after missing two games and JR QB Darron Thomas also started after missing one. JR PK Rob Beard also made his first appearance since the first game of the season.
- James failed to find the end zone for the first time since Nov. 13, 2010 at Cal, but did manage to go over 900 yards rushing on the season (905) with 53 yards on 13 carries.
- JR RB Kenjon Barner scored his seventh rushing touchdown of the season, setting a new career high. All seven of Barner's TDs have come in Pac-12 play.
- SO PK Alejandro Maldonado scored his first non-kicking points, catching a 2-point PAT pass from JR P Jackson Rice following UO's opening touchdown.
- JR LB Michael Clay tied his career-high with a game-high 12 tackles.
- Darron Thomas had one touchdown pass, giving him at least one TD toss in 20 straight games (every start of his career).
- FR CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, a true frosh, made the first start of his career.
- The Ducks allowed an interception return for a touchdown for the first time since Oct. 10, 2009 at UCLA.
- Oregon was held without an offensive touchdown in the opening quarter for only the second time this season and first since the season opener vs. LSU.
- The Ducks failed to reach 300 rushing yards for the third time this season and 500 total yards for the first time since the season opener.
- The crowd of 59,126 (seating capacity 54,000) marked the 79th consecutive sellout at Autzen Stadium, dating to 1999. The last non-sellout was Sept. 18, 1999 vs. Nevada.
