On his performance today:
“I felt good, my command was off early but I was able to get them down and
throw pitches where they needed to be.”
“It was a fun day today. The weather didn't affect me much, and that was good. I
actually like playing in this weather because other pitchers don't like to.”

On starting the rally in the 6th
inning:
“I was fortunate enough to be in the position and make a play. We all would
like to be in the position to make a play with the bases loaded and down by one
run.”
On
ASU in upcoming series:
“The team is prepared, coach is just looking at this as another game, another
series, only this time we're hopping for some warmer weather.”
On scoring in the 6th:
“I'll take what we can get but personally I'd like to spread it
out to make it easier on our pitchers.”

On the win:
“It was a good win for us. We were able to stay positive and come with a good
attitude and were able to battle and fight to get the win.”

Coach George Horton:
On
the game:
“It was more of a grind it out type of a game than it looked. We had guys on in
the third and couldn't get them in. We grinded through it, and we were finaly able to
put some runs on the board.”
On
KC Serna:
“KC made a good adjustment and went from popping up in the third to shortening
his swing and getting on top of it to put it on the ground and score some runs."
On
the big 6th
inning:
“I'll take a big inning, I'll take several big innings. I challenged the kids to
come out with a good aditude and I was proud of them because they did just
that. It could have been easy to roll over, but they stayed with it even with
the rain delay.”
