“I just ran strong and paced myself. I woke up about a mile in and took to the finish from there. “

“Our Freshman class is phenomenal, no one have to go out there and have sole pressure on them to carry the rest of the team. If someone is having a bad week we have the ability to plug in a lot of people into our 4x100 relay team.”

“My mentality coming into the race was just to win the meet and get the meet record. Although my time was slower than I am capable of, I am still happy with my time.”

“I really wanted to open at Hayward with the hurdles, so I got everything I wished for. I train here everyday, so it is still my home—the only difference is I don't get to wear the green and yellow anymore.”
