No. 12 Oregon at No. 18 UCLA - Postgame Notebook
Oct. 11, 2014
•Marcus Mariota passed for a touchdown for the 32nd straight game - every game of his career. His streak is second among current players behind Marshall's Rakeem Cato (38).
•Jake Fisher returned to his starting left tackle spot after missing the past two games.
•The Ducks did not allow a sack. Oregon has surrendered four sacks in the four games Fisher has started at left tackle and 12 in the two games he has not played.
•Royce Freeman recorded the first 100-yard rushing game of his career, finishing with 121 on 18 carries with a pair of touchdowns. It was the first 100-yard rushing performance by a UO player since Mariota eclipsed the century mark vs. Texas in the 2013 Alamo Bowl.
•Mariota totaled four touchdowns - 2 passing, 2 rushing - extending his school record to 101 for his career.
•Mariota has not thrown an interception in his last 215 attempts, including all 155 this season.
•Sam Kamp made his first career start, filling in for Arik Armstead on the defensive line.
•Thomas Tyner made his first career receiving touchdown.
•Pharaoh Brown led the Ducks with five receptions for 84 yards, including a career-long 31-yard TD.
•Although no Oregon players had faced the Bruins in Pasadena before Saturday, six current Ducks played in UO's win over Wisconsin in the 2012 Rose Bowl Game. Hroniss Grasu (C) and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (CB) both started that game, while Jake Fisher, Troy Hill, Derrick Malone Jr. and Tony Washington all saw action off the bench.
•Ekpre-Olomu had the game's only interception - his second of the year.
•UO improved to 12-0 following a regular season loss, dating to 2007.
•The Ducks have a passing touchdown in 59 straight games, the longest streak in Pac-12 history.
•Oregon has won six straight games against UCLA.
•The Ducks and Bruins faced off at the Rose Bowl for the first time since 2009 and 14th time overall. Oregon holds an 8-6 edge in Pasadena.
