EUGENE, Ore. - A pair of future Oregon women's basketball players will be playing in international competition this weekend as the FIBA U19 Women's World Championship begins in Chekhov, Russia.
Point guard Maite Cazorla (Canary Islands) will be competing for her native Spain while forward Lauren Yearwood (British Columbia) will be playing for Canada.
Following a summer of international play, both will be in Eugene as freshmen for the Ducks in 2015-16.
