Softball Signs No. 5 Ranked Class

The Ducks signed six highly-regarded recruits in its 2018 freshman class
EUGENE, Ore. - Head coach Mike White and the Oregon softball program has signed the No. 5 ranked recruiting class in the nation.
The Ducks will add six freshman next season, which include five top-100 ranked recruits, according to the FloSoftball.com rankings.
"We're excited to welcome a class that will add a lot of depth to all positions," head coach Mike White said. "The athleticism of this class is excellent and they should fit into our style of play quite well."
ALLEE BUNKER

White - "Allee comes from a great club in Tony Rico's Firecrackers organization, where we've signed some great players in the past. She plays mostly second base and is very athletic. She could play outfield for us as well. Allee has excellent hustle and a deep passion for the game."
RACHEL CID

White - "Rachel will compete for an infield position for us. She has an excellent presence at the plate and in the field. She's a gap-to-gap hitter with tremendous power."
HANNAH GALEY
UT | Scappoose, Ore. | Scappoose HS
White - "Hannah continues the trend of in-state recruits to Oregon. She has good speed and can play both the infield and the outfield. She has surprising power from the right-hand side of plate."
ALYSSA PINTO
OF | Lodi, Calif. | Lodi HS | No. 72 in FloSoftball Rankings
White - "Alyssa will bring some left-handed power to our lineup. She can play multiple positions and has great experience, playing for multiple national-level clubs."
JASMINE SIEVERS
UT | Mission Viejo, Calif. | Capistrano Valley HS | No. 10 in FloSoftball Rankings
White - "Jasmine could be one of the best shortstops to ever play at Oregon. She has fantastic range and a cannon arm. She has good speed and will be a solid hitter as well."
LEXI WAGNER
OF | Venetia, Pa. | Seton-Lasalle HS | No. 73 in FloSoftball Rankings
White - "Lexi played for the Chicago Bandits, where Jenna Lilley and Miranda Elish also played. She'll be a home run threat at the plate and also has good speed which gives her great range in the outfield. She has a strong arm as well."
