The Ducks open with four straight home games in 2018, and wrap up the regular season with the Civil War on a Friday night.
The second regular season of the Willie Taggart era at Oregon will open with four home games and concludes with a Friday night Civil War matchup, according to the 2018 schedule released Thursday by the Pac-12 Conference.
The Ducks will play all three nonconference games in Autzen Stadium to open the season, as well as four Pac-12 games. That includes the conference opener, Sept. 22 against Stanford, and an Oct. 13 home date with another Pac-12 North division rival, Washington.
The UW game follows Oregon's bye week, which is preceded by the first road game of 2018, on Sept. 29 at Cal. The Ducks thus play five games before their bye and seven after in 2018, after playing 10 straight weeks prior to this season's bye, this past week.
In 2018, the Ducks are slated to return six starters on offense and seven on defense from their most recent game, Nov. 4 at Washington. Along with those 13 returners, 23 of the 29 reserves who played at UW are slated be back next season; those numbers don't include sophomore quarterback Justin Herbert, who is close to returning from a collar bone injury.
The 2018 schedule opens Sept. 1 in Autzen Stadium against Bowling Green, and is followed over the next two weeks with visits by Portland State and San Jose State. The UW game on Oct. 13 will be the fifth home date in six games to that point in the season, after which the Ducks will become road warriors.
The Ducks will be on the road back-to-back weekends, Oct. 20 at Washington State and Oct. 27 at Arizona. They open November at home against UCLA, play at Utah on Nov. 10, then close out the home schedule against Arizona State on Nov. 17.
The Civil War will be played at Oregon State on Friday, Nov. 23; this season's Civil War was originally scheduled for a Friday before being moved to next Saturday, Nov. 25, to accommodate the PK80 men's basketball tournament in Portland.
The 2018 Pac-12 Championship Game also will be played on a Friday, Nov. 30, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Oregon will again miss Southern California and Colorado in 2018, under the Pac-12's two-year rotation cycle.
