Ducks Fall Season Comes To A Close At The Jack Kramer Invite

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. – The Oregon women's tennis team's run at the Jack Kramer Invitational came to an end in the quarterfinals Saturday.
How It Happened: The Ducks opened day three of the Jack Kramer Invitational with two spots in the semifinals on the line.
In the first match of the day, junior Daniela Nasser squared off against No. 1 seed Laura Gulbe of Pepperdine. Nasser nearly took the opening set over Gulbe, but the 66th-ranked Gulbe held on to win the match, 7-6, 6-2.
Sophomore Julia Eshet took on Washington's Vanessa Wong in the Ducks' second quarterfinal match. Eshet managed to win a hard fought opening set, 7-6, but Wong rallied to force a third set. In the third, both players traded games, but Wong was able to pull away and defeat Eshet, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6.
Up Next: With the Jack Kramer Invitational over for the Ducks, the fall season has officially ended for the women's tennis team.
