Tyree Robinson had the longest interception return in UO history.

- SR CB Tyree Robinson had the longest interception return in UO history, equaling the longest return in Las Vegas Bowl history, on a 100-yard "Pick-6" in the second quarter. It was Robinson's sixth career interception and second of the season. He also returned a pick for a score vs. Georgia State in 2015.
- SO LB Troy Dye scored the first touchdown of his career on an 86-yard fumble return in the second quarter. It was the longest fumble return and third-longest scoring play in Las Vegas Bowl history.
- The Ducks last scored multiple defensive touchdowns in a postseason game in the 2013 Alamo Bowl vs. Texas. Avery Patterson and Derrick Malone Jr. each had interception returns for touchdowns in UO's 30-7 win over the Longhorns.
- SR CB Arrion Springs made the second interception of his career and first this season.
- SO WR Dillon Mitchell had a career-best in receiving yards for the second straight game, finishing with 143 yards on a career-high nine receptions. Included was a career-long 67-yard catch.
- SR RB Kani Benoit made his second career start and first this season.
- SO QB Justin Herbert had two touchdown passes and has thrown for at least one score in all 15 starts of his career. Herbert's two interceptions matched his career-high vs. Stanford in 2016.
- Herbert was 16-of-21 for 190 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions after halftime.
- SR LB Jimmie Swain had a team-high 10 tackles and one pass breakup.
- JR DL Jalen Jelks equaled his career-high with nine tackles.
- SR LT Tyrell Crosby, from nearby Henderson, wore No. 58 to honor the 58 victims who lost their lives in the Oct. 1 mass shooting in Las Vegas.
- FR P Adam Stack had a career-long punt of 51 yards in the first quarter.
- The Ducks rushed for 47 yards in the game. The last time Oregon failed to rush for at least 100 yards was Nov. 6, 2016 at USC (85 yards). Â
- The game marked Mario Cristobal's first as the head coach of the Ducks. The last UO head coach to lose in their first game at the helm for the Ducks was Chip Kelly (also to Boise State) in 2009.
- Boise State improved to 3-0 all-time against the Ducks.
- Oregon's all-time bowl record now stands at 13-18.
- The crowd of 36,342 was the ninth largest in the 26-year history of the Las Vegas Bowl
