EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon baseball team dropped its fifth in a row Sunday, losing 10-4 as Stanford completed a three-game sweep at PK Park.

The Ducks (23-13, 6-9 Pac-12) will face Oregon State in a nonconference game Tuesday, looking to regain momentum for the resumption of Pac-12 play at home against Arizona State next weekend and for a potential postseason berth.

"There's still time, but it's gotta start now," said shortstop Kyle Kasser, who had three hits Sunday. "We're still in the thick of things, but we've got to get it figured out."

How It Happened: Stanford (23-12, 8-7) jumped out to a three-run lead in the top of the first to lead wire-to-wire. Oregon scored in three different innings, but in each case the Cardinal answered with at least one run in the next half-inning.

Kasser led off the bottom of the first with his first hit of the day, and came around to score on a Matthew Dyer single. Kasser crossed the plate in the fifth on an RBI single by Jake Bennett, who was driven in by a Gabe Matthews single. And Spencer Steer doubled to drive in Morgan McCullough in the seventh.

But Stanford scored in six of nine innings to sustain the pressure on Oregon all afternoon. "We tried to punch back, and whenever we did, they answered back," Kasser said. "It's pretty deflating, but we've got to find a way to learn from it."

By The Numbers: Isaiah Carranza (2-2) took the loss after allowing four runs in 1.2 innings. The Cardinal touched UO relievers Cole Stringer, Cooper Stiles and Kenyon Yovan for two runs apiece. … Yovan allowed an earned run for the first time this season. … Stanford was 10-of-19 with eight RBIs while batting with two outs. … The game was delayed by rain for 15 minutes in the top of the first.
