06/30/17 | Football
Eugene, Ore. – The Oregon athletic department is teaming with Fanatics to sell team-issued military themed football Spring Game jerseys worn by the Ducks between 2010 and 2016. Jerseys can be purchased starting July 3 at fanaticsauthentic.com.
Â
This marks the first time Spring Game and military-themed football jerseys have been made available to the public. A portion of the proceeds of the sales will benefit the University of Oregon ROTC and Team Red, White & Blue.
Â
"We are excited to partner with the University of Oregon for this event that honors the way sport can unite people and focus them on a cause that is important to all of us: The successful acknowledgement, reintegration and enrichment of America's veterans," Team Red, White & Blue Director of Development Brandon Young said. "Through the funds raised by the University of Oregon, Team RWB will continue to enrich the lives of America's veterans, a combination of health, personal relationships and sense of purpose, by connecting them to over 200 communities across America through physical and social activity where Ducks fans live and work. We can't thank the Ducks Nation enough!"
Â
"The Department of Military Science at the University of Oregon is proud to partner with the athletic department to support the selection, education, training and commissioning of college students to be officers and leaders of character in the U.S. Army and throughout our communities," Lieutenant Colonel Sharel Pond said.
