Women's Basketball Pac-12 Schedule, TV Picks Announced
10/04/18 | Women's Basketball
EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's basketball league schedule and television picks for the 2018-19 season have been announced, the Pac-12 released on Thursday.
The reigning Pac-12 champion Ducks will play 19 games on television this season, with a league-high four on ESPN2 and 15 on Pac-12 Networks. The Ducks will play Michigan State (Dec. 9), Mississippi State (Dec. 18), Stanford (Feb. 10) and Oregon State (Feb. 18) on ESPN2. Only one conference game, Feb. 3 vs. Colorado, will not be on television this year.
Oregon's league slate starts on Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 with Washington and Washington State in town. The Ducks hit the road for the first time the following weekend, visiting USC and UCLA.
Once again, the Ducks and rival Oregon State will meet twice in the same weekend. The Civil War will be played in Eugene on Friday, Feb. 15 and in Corvallis on Monday, Feb. 18.
Oregon ends the regular season at the Arizona schools for the second straight season, at UA on Mar. 1 and at ASU on Mar. 3. The Ducks clinched the Pac-12 title in Tucson in last year's season finale.
The biggest change to the schedule this year will be the site of the Pac-12 Tournament. After being held in Seattle for the last six seasons, renovations taking place at KeyArena have forced the tournament to be relocated to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Pac-12 Tournament starts Mar. 7 with the championship game on Mar. 10. The Pac-12 men's basketball tournament is the following weekend at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
