
Lin Wins Pac-12 Preview

KONA, Hawaii - Freshman Tze-Han Lin tied for first and the Ducks took fifth as a team as Oregon wrapped up its fall schedule at the Pac-12 Preview at the Nanea Golf Club.
Lin birdied the final two holes of her third and final round on Wednesday to split the championship with Arizona's Yu-Sang Hou. It is Lin's first collegiate tournament title and the first by any Duck during this fall season.
Lin shot a 213 (72-71-70) while the Ducks as a team shot an 877 (289296-291).
ROUND ONE

The Ducks were tied with Cal and USC for first after the first day of the Pac-12 Preview, shooting a 3-under 289.
Petra Salko, Tze-Han Lin and Amy Matsuoka all were under par on the first day of play. Salko was tied for ninth individually after shooting a 2-under 71. Salko had just one bogey and tallied three birdies. Lin and Matsuoka each shot a 1-under 72 while Katleen Scavo posted a 1-over 74 and Alexis Phadungmartvorakul recorded a 2-over 75.
Oregon, currently ranked No. 48 in the NCAA, are one of 10 top-50 teams at the event, including No. 1 USC and No. 6 UCLA.
ROUND TWO

The Ducks slipped a bit on day two of the tournament. After ending its first round in first, Oregon was in fourth at the conclusion of its second round.
Freshman Tze-Han Lin shot a 2-under after going 1-under in her opening round. Lin had three birdies and just one bogey and is in fourth place individually going into Wednesday's final round.
Kathleen Scavo shot an even par in her second round and is tied with teammate Petra Salko for 16th individually. Salko was 3-over on Tuesday after opening the tournament with a 2-under on Monday.
ROUND THREE

Tze-Han Lin pulled into a first-place tie in dramatic fashion in the Ducks' third and final day at the Pac-12 Preview.
Lin was 1-under on the day and 4-under for the tournament heading into the 17th on Wedensday. The true freshman birdied the par-3 17th and then birdied the par-5 18th to split the title. She played a bogey-free round to close out the tournament.
Lin has been the Ducks' top golfer this fall, averaging a 71.1 going into the week. Her previous best was a sixth-place showing at the East & West Match Play during stroke play.
Kathleen Scavo had a nice final round, shooting a 1-under 72 to finish tied for 12th individually. Amy Matsuoka was even par on Wednesday and tied for 18th overall. Petra Salko finished 31st and Alexis Phadungmartvorakul took 50th.
