Four Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's basketball team had four players earn all-Pac-12 recognition, the conference announced on Tuesday.
In a vote by the league's coaches, Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard and Maite Cazorla each earned all-Pac-12 honors while Satou Sabally was named to the Pac-12 all-freshman team. Cazorla was also named honorable mention all-defense.
The Ducks' three all-Pac-12 picks are the most for a single-season in program history.
There is also a media vote for postseason honors, which will be announced later this week.
Ionescu leads the Pac-12 in both points (19.2) and assists per game (7.8). Her five triple-doubles this season is the most in the NCAA. Hebard is fourth in the conference in points per game (18.0) and fifth in rebounds per game (8.6). The Fairbanks, Alaska, native is second in the NCAA and first in the Pac-12, shooting 66.6 percent from the floor. Cazorla is fifth in the Pac-12 in assists per game (5.1) and is 10th in the conference in field goal percentage (47.9), the best of any guard in the league.
The Pac-12 player of the Year, freshman of the year, defensive player of the year, John R. Wooden coach of the year and Pac-12 scholar-athlete of the year honors will be announced this evening at 5 PM on Pac-12 Network in a special 30-minute Pac-12 Sport Report. In addition to the live announcement of the yearly awards, the show will include analysis and recaps of the conference heading into the Pac-12 women's basketball tournament in Seattle, Wash. Ashley Adamson will host with analysts Anne Marie Anderson and Mary Murphy. In addition to airing on Pac-12 Network, the show can be watched via the Pac-12 Now app (available on the App store for iOS and Google Play for Android) and on Pac-12.com/now.Â
