Hollins Accepts East-West Game Invite

EUGENE, Ore. – The Pac-12 leader with five forced fumbles during his senior season, Oregon outside linebacker Justin Hollins has accepted an invitation to the play in the 94th East-West Shrine Game played on Jan. 19.

Hollins joins Oregon tight Kano Dillon in the game, while his pass-rushing sidekick Jalen Jelks will play in the Senior Bowl. The East-West Shrine Game can be seen live on the NFL Network at noon PT.

Playing in his final game as a Duck, Hollins put together one of the best games of his career in Oregon's 7-6 win over Michigan State in the Redbox Bowl. Hollins lived in MSU's backfield, matching career-highs of 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, while forcing his league-leading fifth fumble of the season. Hollins also added seven tackles, as Oregon became the first team since 2008 to win a bowl game with less than 10 points.

Hollins' dominate game against the Spartans helped him currently rank as the only FBS player with at least five sacks, five forced fumbles and an interception on the season. The Arlington, Texas, product is one of just 19 FBS players to accomplish the aforementioned feat since 2000 and joins former Duck Anthony Trucks (2005) as the only Pac-12 players to do so over that span.

An Associated Press Pac-12 All-Conference first team choice, Hollins finished his senior season with team-bests of 14.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, which ranked sixth and fourth, respectively, in the Pac-12. Hollins had at least a half-tackle for loss in 10 of 13 games while finishing third on the team with 64 total tackles.
