Notes: First Place Up For Grabs When Ducks and Utes Clash Friday

EUGENE, Ore. - First place in the Pac-12 standings will be up for grabs when No. 5 Oregon and No. 14 Utah square off at 7 PM on Friday at Matthew Knight Arena.

Notes: The Ducks have one of the most efficient offenses in the nation this season. UO's 89.2 points per game is No. 2 in the NCAA. UO leads the nation with a 1.81 assist-to-turnover ratio. UO's 11.1 turnovers per game are the third fewest in the NCAA while its 20.1 assists per game rank fifth. Oregon is second in the nation in field goal percentage (51.8%), second in three-point percentage (42.0%) and 10th in free throw percentage (77.2%).

Notes: The Utes are in the midst of the best season in school history. Utah topped then No. 6 Stanford, 75-68, on Sunday and went from No. 21 to No. 14 in the AP poll. The Utes held the Cardinal to 38.5% shooting overall and 28.6% from three. Forward Megan Huff is nearly averaging a double-double this year with 19.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

KEY STORYLINES
- UO has won six straight games against Utah and is 8-4 against the Utes since they joined the Pac-12 in 2011-12.
- UO and Utah are top three in the Pac-12 in field goal percentage, free throw percentage and three-point percentage.
- After matching the UO record with nine on Sunday at UW, Erin Boley leads the Pac-12 with 62 made three-pointers.
- In Pac-12 play, Ruthy Hebard is averaging a double-double with 16.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.

SHE STANDS ALONE
- Sabrina Ionescu is currently averaging 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game, the only player in the NCAA averaging 14+ points, 7+ rebounds and 7+ assists.
- The last time anyone posted a balanced stat line even close to that was in 2014-15, when Cal's Brittany Boyd averaged 13.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.8 assists.

ATTENDANCE LEADERS
Oregon leads the Pac-12, averaging 6,468 fans per home game. The Ducks are averaging over 1,200 more fans per game than second-place OSU. Oregon is one of just 10 teams in the NCAA averaging 6,000+ fans per game.

FOUR-POINT QUARTERS
- The Ducks gave up just four points to Arizona in the first quarter on Jan. 20. Oregon outscored the Wildcats 31-4 in the first after opening the game on a 20-0 run. UA went 2-of-18 from the floor.
- Oregon's defense also allowed Long Beach State to score just four points in the second quarter of the Ducks' 110-48 win on Dec. 2. LBSU went 2-of-12 from the floor and didn't get to the line once. UO outscored the 49ers 26-4 in the quarter.
