EUGENE, Ore. – Off to its first 3-0 start in Pac-12 play since 2013, Oregon moved up one spot to No. 12 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the Amway Coaches Poll released on Sunday.
The Ducks pushed their win streak to five games overall and five straight in league action with a convincing 45-3 win over Colorado last Friday in Autzen Stadium. In its first two seasons under head coach Mario Cristobal, Oregon (5-1) is one of 13 FBS teams to win at least five of its first six games in both 2018 and 2019.
Oregon's defense has fueled its current win streak, as the Ducks have held each opponent to under 10 points and a combined one touchdown. It marks the first time since 1958 that Oregon has held five consecutive opponents to single-digit points.
Oregon travels to Seattle for a Pac-12 showdown against No. 25 Washington on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 12:30 p.m. on ABC.
