EUGENE, Ore. - The Ducks' third weekend of the outdoor season will feature competition at the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz., and the John Knight Twilight in Monmouth, Ore. Both meets begin Friday afternoon with the Sun Angel Classic continuing into Saturday.

Still early in the outdoor season, the Ducks currently have 28 athletes positioned within the region's top 50 event rankings. The top 48 advance to the NCAA West Preliminary (May 23-25) in Sacramento which serves as the gateway meet for the NCAA Championships. Oregon is scheduled to have six of its top-15 national performers in action this weekend with Susan Ejore (800m), Cravon Gillespie (100m, 200m), Oraine Palmer (100m, 200m), Kiana Phelps (SP, DT) and both 4x100-meter relays.
