EUGENE, Ore. – Melyssa Lombardi announced Oregon softball's 2019 fall schedule on Thursday as she prepares for her second season as the Ducks' head coach.

Oregon will kick off its fall schedule on Sunday, Oct. 6 (10 a.m.), with a 10-inning game against College of the Siskiyous at JSS. The Ducks will head to Boise, Idaho, the following weekend to take on Idaho State and Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Â
UO will be back in action in Eugene on Thursday, Oct. 17, with another 10-inning game against Western Oregon at 6 p.m., before hosting Chico State (12:30 p.m.) and Southern Oregon (3 p.m.) on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Â
The Ducks will finish the fall on Sunday, Oct. 27, with a pair of games against the Oregon Institute of Technology (12:30 p.m.) and Portland State (3 p.m.).

The Ducks will bring back 2019 ace Jordan Dail as well as starters Haley Cruse, Shaye Bowden, Allee Bunker, Rachel Cid and Jasmine Sievers, and catcher Terra McGowan will gear up for her debut season after redshirting as a true freshman.

The Ducks also brought in transfer infielders Mya Felder and Maddie Hopper, and Kliethermes is joined by infielder Ariel Carlson, outfielder Deijah Pangilinan and utility players Jazzy Contreras and Vallery Wong in UO's freshman class.
It was also announced on Thursday that the Ducks will open the 2020 season at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in a field that also includes BYU, Utah State, Oklahoma, George Washington, Nevada and Long Beach State.Â
