WNBA #ProDucks: Hebard, Sabally in Thick of Postseason Race
09/08/20 | Women's Basketball
Ruthy Hebard and the Chicago Sky have locked up a postseason berth while Satou Sabally and the Dallas Wings look to hold on to the eighth and final playoff spot as the WNBA enters the final week of its shortened regular season at the IMG Academy campus in Bradenton, Fla.
Hebard made three starts in a 2-2 week for the Sky, who currently sit at 11-9 overall and as the No. 6 seed in the playoff picture, while Sabally helped Dallas to a huge overtime win over Washington to maintain the Wings' hold on the No. 8 seed with three games remaining.
The final week of the regular season will also feature the final battle between #ProDucks, as Chicago and Dallas will face off on Friday at 5 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network. That showdown will be the last regular-season game for Hebard and the Sky, while Sabally and the Wings will end their regular season on Sunday against New York.
No. 1 overall pick Sabrina Ionescu remains out for the Liberty after suffering an ankle injury in the third game of the season. New York (2-16) will wrap its regular season with four games this week.
