Charlton and Vandecasteele Advance in Doubles Main Draw at ITA All-American

No. 12th ranked doubles team plays for a quarterfinal spot on Thursday
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men's tennis doubles team of Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele advanced in the main draw at the ITA-All American today after beating Arizona (Filip Malbasic and Herman Hoeyeraal) by a score of 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (6).
As one of 16 teams remaining, the No. 12 ranked Ducks duo looks to reach the quarterfinals when they are back in action Oct. 7 at 12:30 p.m. PT against Stanford's Arthur Fery and Alexandre Rotsaert. The main draw bracket continues with one round each day, until the final on Oct. 10, with all matches being played at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.
Oregon's doubles team of Ivailo Keremedchiev and Jesper Klöv-Nilsson won two matches in the qualifying round on Monday, defeating Wisconsin (Jared Pratt and Sebastian Vile) 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10) and Oklahoma State (Luke Hammond and Tyler Zink) 6-2, 7-6(1), earning a wildcard spot to participate in today's main draw.
