After Arizona turned a double play, Oregon started a two-out rally scoring four more runs. After the Ducks loaded the bases, Nick Bellafronto tied the game on a bases loaded walk by Tanner Smith. Hall then doubled to right field scoring all three runs for a 6-3 Oregon (12-6, 3-3 Pac-12) lead.
The Ducks jumped on the Wildcats for five more runs in the fifth. After Oregon loaded the bases, Nick Bellafronto drove in two with a base hit to left field for an 8-3 Ducks' lead. Josh Kasevich followed with a one-out run scoring hit, before Smith and Hall had back-to-back RBI singles.
Arizona answered with a run in its half of the inning, but the Ducks got it back in the top of the sixth. Zavala led off the inning with a walk and came around to score on a Gabe Matthews double for a 12-4 Oregon lead.
The Wildcats got two back in the bottom of the inning, but Oregon responded again in the top of the seventh, this time with four runs. Gavin Grant led off the inning with a double and scored on a Tanner Smith double. Hall moved Smith to third with his fourth hit of the game, before Yovan plated Smith with a sacrifice fly.
After Zavala picked up his third hit of the game, Josiah Cromwick loaded the bases when a pitch hit him. Matthews followed with his second double in as many innings, this time a two-RBI shot to right field scoring Hall and Zavala.
Arizona got two back in the bottom of the seventh, but Oregon answered again. After a Smith leadoff walk and a Hall double put runners on second and third, Yovan hit is second sacrifice fly of the game for a 17-8 lead.
