Franklin Added To Biletnikoff Award Watch List

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin was added on Monday morning to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, which annually recognizes college football's outstanding FBS receiver regardless of position. The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., announced Franklin as one of three additions to the watch list, along with Tyler Hudson (Louisville) and C.J. Johnson (East Carolina).
The semifinalists, finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 610 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers. Semifinalists will be voted on this week, and will be announced on Monday, Nov. 21.
Demetrius Williams (2005 & 2006) is the lone Duck ever to be selected as a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

» Leads the Pac-12 with five catches of 40-plus yards and three of 50-plus yards.
» Three 100-yard receiving games, including a career-high 139-yard outing last week vs. Washington.
» At least three receptions in eight of 10 games, including a career-high 10 catches on Sept. 10 vs. Eastern Washington.
» No. 3 nationally with 390 receiving yards between the 40-yard lines.
