Oregon fired an incredible 9-under 279 in the final round to soar up the leaderboard and tie for first with host Arizona State, earning the program's first tournament win since the spring of 2016. Oregon has been in the top five on Golfstat for the entirety of the spring season after closing the fall at No. 4, and the Ducks trail only Pac-12 rival Stanford for the top spot in the nation. Prior to this season, a No. 5 ranking at the end of the 1996-97 campaign is believed to be the highest ranking in program history. In seven tournaments this season, Oregon has compiled a competitive record of 28-13-0 against teams currently ranked in the Golfstat top 25.

The No. 2 Ducks outlasted a loaded field that featured 10 top-25 programs on March 13-15 at the Northrop Grumman Challenge to earn their second straight tournament win, third of the season, and fourth in the last calendar year. Oregon shot 5 under in the second round and 2 under in the final round to finish as the only team under par at -4 and win the team title by seven strokes. The Ducks got contributions from their entire lineup for the second straight tournament, with all five players finishing in the top 12 on the individual standings.
