Acrobatics And Tumbling Sign Nine To 2024 Class

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling head coach Taylor Susnara announced a signing class of nine future Ducks on Sunday.
"I'm thrilled to be welcoming nine extremely talented student-athletes to our program," Susnara said. "They are a fun bunch with laser focus. We have athletes coming from acrobatic and artistic gymnastics backgrounds, as well as competitive cheerleading backgrounds. Their unique and individual skill sets are going to add value in places we need it the most."
Briya Alvarado – Coppell, Texas
Competed for the Texas Dreams Gymnastics club…Earned a Level 10 first place floor finish at Winter Fest and a Level 10 second place floor finish at the WOGA Classic in 2020.
Cassidy Cu – Castro Valley, Calif.
Competed for the West Coast Training Center acrobatics club…a three-time member of the Senior US Acro National Team from 2021-23…A two-time Senior World Acro Team member in 2021 and 2022…Won the women's group balance routine competition at the 2022 Acro World Championships while taking bronze-medalist honors in the all-around…A member of the first American women's group to win gold at the World Acro Championships in 2022…President of the Lean In Women's Empowerment Club at Castro Valley High School…A member of the National Honor Society.
Aubrey Edge – Guyton, Ga.
Competed for Savannah Cheer, Miss Ruby club cheer team…A three-time region champion in competitive cheer, and a state champion in game day cheer…Awarded the coaches award for competitive cheer her sophomore year…Amember of the National Honor Society at South Effingham High School and has been named to the honor roll every year of high school.
Carly Garcia – Lathrop, Calif.
Competed for California All Stars Black Ops club team…A two-time Nfinity Legend Athlete in 2022 and 2023, and a two-time Generation Next Athlete in 2019 and 2020…Awarded the best all-around on the California All Stars Black Ops team in 2021…Named to the honor role at Delta Charter High School each year.
Maya Khauv – Redmond, Wash.
Competed for Connect Cheer NW Twilight club team… Has spent six years on the Level 6 Worlds team, earning a third place finish at The Cheerleading Worlds in 2022…A four-year varsity cheerleader at Redmond High School.
Haylie Macaraya – Kapolei, Hawaii
Competed for Hawaiian Island Twisters club team…Attends Hawaii Technology Academy where she has been on the Honor Roll from 2017-23.
Angelica Martin – Wilmington, Del.
Competed for First State Gymnastics club…Attends Sanford School where she is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and has earned first honors in 2020, 2021 and 2022…Has earned the Outstanding Academic Achievement award for Region 7 from USA Gymnastics three times (2021, 2022, 2023).
Lilly Paumier – Portland, Ore.
Competed for Empire Athletics Sergeants club team…Is a member of the National Honor Society at Central Catholic High School.
Morgan Willingham – Douglasville, Ga.
Competed for the Stingray Allstars Marietta-Peach competitive cheer team…A team captain for sideline cheer and competition cheer for the Alexander High School Cheer Team…Competed as a club gymnast…A 2015 state champion in all-around, bars, floor and vault…A 2014 state champion in all-around, floor, bars and beam.
