LAS VEGAS – Oregon men's basketball opens the season against Georgia on Monday in Las Vegas.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
This is the second meeting between the two programs.
» Oregon won the first meeting 87-74 on December 20, 1975.
» The game was part of the Indiana Classic and featured future NBA draft picks Ron Lee and Greg Ballard.

RETURNING PRODUCTION
Seven Ducks return from last year's team, including three starters.
» N'Faly Dante, Nate Bittle and Jermaine Couisnard started the majority of games they played in last season. Keeshawn Barthelemy and Brennan Rigsby also were in the starting rotation, while contributing off the bench.

FRESH FACES
Oregon welcomes three DI transfers, one JuCo transfer and four freshmen to the team.
» Guards Jesse Zarzuela (Central Michigan) and Kario Oquendo (Georgia) averaged 10-plus points last year, while Mahamadou Diawara (Stetson) grabbed 20 rebounds in the last game of the season.
» Jadrian Tracey was a NJCAA honorable mention All-American last season, averaging 14.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists for Florida SouthWestern.
» Back-to-back Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year Jackson Shelstad joins the Ducks, along with McDonald's All-Americans Mookie Cook and Kwame Evans Jr.

PRESEASON RECOGNITION
N'Faly Dante earned First Team All-Pac-12 honors last season and enters the season on the preseason first team. Dante was also one of 20 centers named to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar watch list.
» He averaged career highs in points (13.5), rebounds (8.2) and blocks (1.4), finishing the regular season with a career-best 61.5 FT% and recorded nine double-doubles.
» Led the team in points, rebounds, blocks, field goal percentage (.642), and plus/minus (+9.3). He will finish his career as the school's all-time leader in field goal percentage at over 64%.
» He's the first true center at UO to earn all-conference honors since Jerry Adams in 1986.
» First first-team Duck since Chris Duarte and Eugene Omoruyi in 2021.
