- Wednesday's game will be the first meeting in the series between Oregon and Niagara.
- The Ducks have played just one game all-time against teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), a 12-5 win over Canisius on May 30, 2015 when Oregon beat the Golden Griffins in the Springfield Regional Tournament in Springfield, Mo.
