Ducks to be Featured in First Softball Broadcast on MLB Network

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon's softball program will make history during the season-opening NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla. The Ducks will be one of the teams featured in the first-ever collegiate softball games to be broadcast live on MLB Network.
No. 15/13 Oregon and No. 5/7 Clemson will play in the nightcap of a tripleheader on MLB Network at 4 p.m. Pacific on Feb. 10.
Utah and Notre Dame will lead off coverage at 10 a.m., followed by Liberty and Missouri at 1 p.m.
The three games mark a first for MLB after the network aired a tape-delayed softball game for the first time last season.
Live Streaming for the remainder of Oregon's games at the Leadoff Classic will be available free of charge via the GameChanger app. The app can be downloaded at gc.com/download and is also available for download on mobile devices. Game Times Updated
As a result of the MLB Network broadcast, the Ducks will now play Missouri State at 10 a.m. on Feb. 10. The Ducks were originally slated to face the Bears at 1 p.m.
There have been an additional time changes for Oregon's Feb. 22 games at the Mary Nutter Classic. The Ducks will now play Central Florida at 2:30 p.m. and Baylor at 5 p.m. Those games were previously scheduled for 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively.
Delgado Honored by Pac-12
Hanna Delgado was named to the Pac-12 all-preseason team on Thursday. She is one of only two outfielders named to the preseason squad, joining Arizona's Dakota Kennedy.
The Ducks were picked fifth in the preseason coaches' poll. Stanford was selected to win the league, followed by UCLA, Utah and Washington. Arizona – chosen to finish sixth in the league – had the most all-Pac-12 preseason selections with five.
