Oregon Men Set for the Western Intercollegiate

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men's golf team concludes its regular season at the 77th Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Course in Santa Cruz, Calif. The three-day, 54-hole event tees off on Monday with broadcast coverage available on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

THE FIELD
No. 25 Oregon will be a part of an impressive 15-team field that features five teams ranked inside the top-25 and a cohort of traditional men's golf powerhouses:
No. 9 Arizona, BYU, No. 21 California, Chattanooga, Hawaii, No. 25 Oregon, Pepperdine, San Diego State, San Jose State, Stanford, No. 17 Texas, UC Irvine, UNLV , No. 8 Washington
THE LINEUP
In this six-count-five event, the Ducks' roll out each of the five players they used at last season's NCAA Championships along with freshman Hugh Adams. Additionally, Eric Doyle and Thomas Jenkins Jr. will be competing as individuals.

2) Owen Avrit– 2023 PING All-America Third Team.
3) Nate Stember – 2023 All-Pac-12 Second Team.

- Oregon came in at No. 25 in the most recent College Golf Rankings and are one of five Pac-12 programs to feature in the top 25. Individually, the Ducks are represented in the top 100 by Nate Stember who is ranked No. 95.
- Fifth-year senior Nate Stember is climbing the ranks of the Oregon men's golf record book in his final season as a Duck. With 473 career birdies, Stember has the third most by any Duck since at least 1993-94, and is seeking to join Eugene Wong (505) and Daniel Miernicki (563) as the only golfers in program history to eclipse 500 in a career.
- Oregon's starting lineup is loaded with experience as the Ducks used the same five players in the 2023 NCAA Regionals and the NCAA Championships. Nate Stember leads the way and is joined by Owen Avrit, Greg Solhaug, Aiden Krafft and Greyson Leach.
- Freshman Hugh Adams impressed in his first appearance in the starting lineup at The Prestige (Feb. 19-21), finishing 2 under to lead Oregon in the tournament. After shooting 3 over in the opening round, Adams battled back with back-to-back rounds under par including a career-best 68 in the second, finishing the tournament tied for 30th.
- At the Amer Ari Intercollegiate (Feb. 8-10) Oregon tied the third-lowest tournament to par in program history at 33 under. The Ducks were led by Nate Stember who carded a career-best 13 under (203) as he tied for 19th overall. Each of Oregon's five starters finished the tournament under par as the Ducks finished 14th in a field that featured nine programs ranked in the top 25.
