Preseason practice continued for the Ducks on their outdoor fields Tuesday afternoon.
Preseason practice continued for the Oregon football team Tuesday with a workout in shells on the Ducks' outdoor fields.
The Ducks are just about at the midway point of camp, building toward their season opener against Idaho on Aug. 31.
Following Tuesday's practice, head coach Dan Lanning met with local media, as did receiver Traeshon Holden and linebacker Devon Jackson. Video of those interviews is embedded below.

Some highlights from Lanning and the players ….
Lanning on what he learned from Saturday's scrimmage: "We've got to get better with our operation. We've really attacked that the last couple days. I think that's really good. We've got to keep incorporating more crowd noise for our guys, so they get used to that. So we had some of that today, which is a positive. We're going to play in some some loud stadiums, you know? And our stadium's a loud stadium when our defense is out there. The coach-to-player communication's a little bit different."
Holden on how the receivers attacked the scrimmage: "We was really excited. We treat it all like a game, so everybody's in there locked in, ready to go. We've got some things to build on, but I feel like it was cool. I feel like it's a building block. The first screen ain't ever perfect, but I feel like everybody came out there with the right energy. Everybody had the right mindset for sure.
Jackson on putting his elite speed to use for the defense: "I feel like I'm really confident in my ability, in this scheme, in this defense, of how they want me to play. It's really coming to life this year, and I can't wait to show it."
