Football Practice Report: Sept. 25
09/25/24 | Football
The Ducks are preparing to play at UCLA on Saturday (8 p.m., FOX).
The Oregon football team was back in full pads Wednesday for practice on the team's outdoor fields.
The No. 8 Ducks are preparing to play Saturday at UCLA. The game will be televised by FOX, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m.
Following Wednesday's practice, head coach Dan Lanning met with local media, as did tight end Terrance Ferguson, linebacker Devon Jackson and running back Jayden Limar. Video of those interviews is embedded below.

Some highlights from coach Lanning …
On preparations so far for Saturday's game: "Prep's been good this week. You're always gonna have some issues in Tuesday, Wednesday practice, and that's what Thursday and Friday are for. So we continue to get it cleaned up, but it's been good."
On Ferguson's growth as a vocal leader: "He's always been a guy that's done his job, and when he's talking it makes our team better. When he does that, it makes a huge difference. So he's done a good job of that."
On steps Jackson has taken in his development: "The communication on the field, I think that's really stepped up for him. He was a quiet guy when he first got here, and he's talking on the field, which makes us better as a defense."
On Limar's impact for Oregon's special teams: "He does his job — he consistently does his job. Shows up to work every single week, and it shows up in practice. It shows up in games."
