Football Practice Report: Oct. 8
10/08/25 | Football
The Ducks are preparing to host Indiana in a matchup of top-10 teams Saturday.
EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon football team was inside Autzen Stadium for practice Wednesday, a workout in full pads as the Ducks prepare to host Indiana this Saturday.
Coming off a bye week for both teams, it will be a top-10 matchup when the game kicks off on CBS at 12:30 p.m. ESPN's "College GameDay" pregame show will be produced from the UO campus earlier in the day.
Following Wednesday's practice, head coach Dan Lanning met with local reporters, as did ILB Bryce Boettcher and WR Dakorien Moore. Video of those interviews is embedded below.
Some highlights from Moore …
On pressure that might come from being a highly rated freshman: "I would say I put more pressure on myself than anything. I don't really try to think about what everybody's expectations for me is, especially outside of this building and the team — just the standards that we uphold for ourselves and the standards that I have myself."
On earning respect from other receivers in his position group: "Coming in here and putting in the work every day, showing you know how much I love the game and how seriously I take it, I think I just gained a lot of respect and everything from the guys in the receiver room. And that relationship just builds every single day."
On his assessment of the season through five games so far: "I think it's going well. Just knowing everything that we hold ourselves to, especially having a young team, just having that mindset that we've got to be way mature. We've got to go out there and show ourselves that we're not just a young team, you know, we can go out there and fight just like any other team. And I think we've been doing more than that."
