Jagare advanced to the Round of 16 after a straight-set victory in the opening round on Thursday, where she defeated UNLV's Nikol Mircheva, 6-4, 7-5. The win earned her a match with Washington's Carina Surtveit, where Jagare again won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.
For a spot in the semifinals, Jagare squared off with the nation's 81st-ranked player in Mayu Crossley of UCLA, the highest-ranked player in the field. Jagare went toe-to-toe with Crossley, but fell just short 6-4, 6-4.
