Ducks Manage Difficult Day, Sit Top 10 at The Goodwin

STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon men's golf team will enter Saturday's final round at the Goodwin in 10th place after firing an 8-over 288 on Friday.

The Ducks struggled to find their rhythm at Stanford Golf Course and sit at 7-over through 36 holes. No Ducks shot in the red on Friday after three did in Thursday's opening round.

Individually, Greyson Leach put together the best round of the day for Oregon, shooting an even-par 70. Ramil Saelim will come into the final round tied for fifth at 3-under, three strokes behind UCLA's Omar Morales and Santa Clara's JP Odland.

How It Happened
Leach opened his round with a birdie on No. 1, finishing the front nine even after a bogey on No. 2. He ran into trouble midway through the back nine, carding three bogeys in a row on holes 13-15, but ended strong with three birdies to close the round.

Saelim carded a 1-over 71 on Friday. The freshman tallied three birdies and two bogeys on the front before posting a pair of bogeys on the back nine. Eric Doyle tallied three birdies for his round, but also recorded three bogeys and a double for a 2-over 72. The senior will start Saturday's finale tied for 15th.

Aiden Krafft rounded out the Ducks' counting scores with a 5-over 75. The senior carded Oregon's lone eagle of the day but also tallied three bogeys and two double bogeys.
