The Order of the O is the official affinity group for ALL Oregon Athletics alumni.
In an effort to best serve Oregon athletics alumni, the University of Oregon Athletic Department, University of Oregon Alumni Association, and the Order of the O Advisory Board have partnered to implement changes to the structure of the Order of the O.MISSION STATEMENT
The Order of the O is a community of Oregon athletics alumni that promotes and celebrates the legacy and tradition of University of Oregon Athletics through engagement in mentoring, networking, and social opportunities.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Order of the O includes former and current University of Oregon students who have remained in good standing with the University of Oregon, and meet one of the following criteria:
- An individual who was awarded a letter in a University of Oregon Athletic Department sponsored sport.
- An individual who participated in an affiliated University of Oregon Athletic Department athletic organization, including Cheerleading, Mascot, and Managers.
- An individual who was not awarded a letter, but participated in a University of Oregon Athletic Department sponsored sport. The athlete should have appeared on a team roster, as recorded and verified by the University of Oregon Athletic Department.
- Honorary members who have been offered "honorary" status in the Order of the O in recognition of their unique contributions to University of Oregon Athletics.
Order of the O has established a "virtual roster" to establish a more cohesive and connected community for our athletics alumni, and the book is OFFICIALLY LIVE.
Benefits of joining 'The Roster' include:
- The ability to connect with other Order of the O Roster members
- Ability to search for former teammates or student-athletes by name, major, sport, graduation year, etc.
- View a map of where all Oregon Athletics alumni now reside
- Exclusive perks for Roster members, including access and discounts at the Nike Employee Store and the Columbia Employee Store.
